Those traveling along Route 9 can expect to see changes in the coming year
The Hampshire Mosque, meanwhile, bought the former Adventure Outfitters building this spring for $570,000. According to a message on the mosque website, leaders are trying to ready the new space for prayer. Adventure Outfitters closed in 2013 after 32 years.

Dr. Hazratji supporters extend traditional Ramadan Greetings to the Amherst community.
The Ramadan 2011 festivities in Amherst this year have been toned done a bit since the death of Osama Bin Laden.
Ramadan Ritual in Amherst – Dr. Hazratji doesn’t deny accusations of his racist violent incitments, but makes unspecified charges of Islamphobia again.
Supporters of Dr. Hazratji and Hampshire mosque recently met at the temporary musallah in Amherst to offer a traditional Muslim ‘goatze’ greeting to the community.

Train Derailment in Amherst – accident or sabotage?
A highly unusual derailment of a freight train carrying hazardous materials (chlorine) has caused the closure of Amtrak routes through Amherst and to points North, severed critical fiber optic communication lines, and forced the indefinite closure of a major road.
