Vocabulary

The words, phrases, and idioms of many foreign tongues often become a part of our American language as we absorb ideas and concepts from diverse cultures.  It is also considered courteous to show cultural sensitivity to our non-American guests by learning to use words from their language.

For example, Mohammed’s god Allah was so concerned about the well-being of non-Muslims that he devoted  61% of the Qur’an to instructions to how we, Kafirs, should be treated. So it is only polite to learn the proper Arabic word so that non-Americans will feel more comfortable communicating with us.

ARABIC VOCABULARY

Aisha – this was Mohammed’s most intimate disciple and favorite wife, who learned the “Sunnah of the Prophet” from the time that she was six years old. Sunni’s admire her but don’t talk about her in front of an observant Shi’ite or you might get in trouble.

Dhimmi – a non-Muslim (Kafir) who is forced to live in a subjugated state and pay an oppressive tax ‘with submission’ for the temporary privilege of living a little bit longer.

Islam – means ‘Submission to Allah’ – so if you were to say “I accept Islam” you are really saying “I accept Submission to Allah.”  Say this aloud a few times. Now go get the rest of your family and have them say it aloud with you.  Do you still ‘accept Islam’?

Jizya– a tax extorted from dhimmis that refuse to ‘Submit’ by accepting Islam. The Qur’an requires that, after dhimmis are subdued, the Juzya must be paid in a submissive manner.

A Kafir is any non-Muslim, also referred to unbeliever, infidel, or filth – the Holy Qur’an describes the characteristics of non-Muslims in great detail.

Sunnah of Mohammed – the prophet of Islam showed his followers how to behave by setting a ‘perfect example’ for them to follow – known as the Sunnah or Methodology.

Allah sent him to perfect all moral values and to serve as the best example for mankind to follow (Qur’an 33: 21)

Qur’an – the words of Allah – delivered by Gabriel to Mohammed

Sharia Law – This is the Law derived from the “Sunnah of Mohammed” and enforced in Egypt, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and in any other country where the Ummah comprises over 50% of the population.

Ummah – refers to the worldwide Muslim Community, which by definition does not include non-Muslims.  When a member of the Ummah uses the word ‘we’ or ‘community’, he is only referring to the Ummah, and never to Kafir.

Students are encouraged to research each of the terms on their own to clarify and better understand the concepts.
