The Hampshire Mosque, meanwhile, bought the former Adventure Outfitters building this spring for $570,000. According to a message on the mosque website, leaders are trying to ready the new space for prayer. Adventure Outfitters closed in 2013 after 32 years.
The mosque had to leave its site at the Carriage Shops in Amherst on Wednesday as all tenants were asked to leave while the owners prepare to sell the site.
