Hasan Tahsin Arslan
Hasan Arslan of the Turkish Cultural Center said he hopes organizers of the Islamic center will reconsider and not insist that it be near the Sept. 11 site. “I don’t push the limits if I know it would hurt some people’s feelings,” he said.
The evening began with a reception where guests had an opportunity for networking, followed by the words of welcome by TCCB. Subsequent to a brief video presentation about the mission and activities of TCCB, Hasan T. Arslan, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the Western New England University, delivered the keynote address.
