Those traveling along Route 9 can expect to see changes in the coming year

The Hampshire Mosque, meanwhile, bought the former Adventure Outfitters building this spring for $570,000. According to a message on the mosque website, leaders are trying to ready the new space for prayer. Adventure Outfitters closed in 2013 after 32 years.

Thanks to contributors from the Muslim Brotherhood and Mohammedan investors around the world, Hampshire mosque has recently acquired the former Adventure Outfitters building on Rt 9 in Hadley.
