Unlike Hampshire Mosque Inc., which believes that Shi’ites are apostates, the Amherst community is very welcoming to people of all faiths and nationalities.
Muslim students fortunate enough to attend UMass from foreign despotic Islamic nations like Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, or Saudi Arabia are often surprised at the warm welcome they receive in America.
Unlike their Islamic homelands, where Sunni/Shi’ite bombings continue daily, American’s values are based on Judeo-Christian principals and allow people of all ethnic or cultural backgrounds full rights and respect.
Unfortunately, Muslim students will soon find that Islamic hatemongers like Dr. Hazratji have already established themselves here, planting seeds of hatred, bias, and bigotry and inciting violence.
Hampshire Mosque and UMass MSA – no friend of the Shi’ites.
UMass students of the Shi’ite faith might be disappointed to know that, despite the ‘Ali’ moniker, Dr. Hazratji and the ‘Hampshire Mosque Inc’ believe that Shi’ites are apostates that falsely followed a ‘nefarious Jew’ over a thousand years ago.
Other moderate Umass students should read the Bylaws of HM Inc., which allow membership only to Muslims “who are in full agreement with the aims and objectives of the corportation.”
If you are “in full agreement with the aims and objectives” of Dr. Hazratji, the Islamic Society of Western Massachusetts, and Hampshire Mosque Inc., then you might not be as moderate as you think.
