Naz Mohamed on Hampshire mosque controversy “It’s in the past and I’m not sure it’s a good idea to talk about it”

Naz (Nazir) Mohamed is the representative of Dr. Hazratji and Hampshire mosque to Joan Lindeman’s “Interfaith Opportunities Network.”  Naz has lived in the valley for over 25 years, only recently deciding to become the ‘poster girl’ for the Islamist campaign of hate and lies promoted by Dr. Hazratji, Hampshire mosque, and the “Islamic Society of Western Massachusetts” of which he is president.

She’s not sure it’s a good idea to talk about it.

“It’s in the past and I’m not sure it’s a good idea to talk about it” – Naz Mohamed on Hazratji’s Hampshire mosque controversy.

Naz was born is Karachi, Pakistan around 1953 and came to the US in the mid-80s to earn a degree from UMass in 1986.

In 2010 Naz introduced the ION community to her son, Zafir and showed pictures of his recent Islamic wedding. Naz was one of the wives of Bashir Ahmed (Ahamed) who immigrated to the US in 1977 and owned Basha Exquisite Gifts, a local import business.

In 1985 they were able to spend much time together even though they were not married because of America’s freedoms. Even today in their homeland unmarried men and women would face execution if they were caught spending such ‘private time’ together.

Bashir passed away in June 2008, and a memorial service was held at his home in Leverett in  September, 2008.

A statue of an Owl was recently erected in Northampton to honor Bashir.

Although the prophet of Islam ordered all musical instruments destroyed, Hafiz enjoys playing the Hindu sitar.

Many of Bashir’s other relatives that could get security clearance also made the trip from Kashmir for the service, including his son Hafiz.   Naz greets her ‘son’, Hafiz,  at the end of the video as hundreds of local dhimmis chant approval to the Iman’s war cries –  “Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!”

Gul Ahmed, a trained chemical engineer, came to America as a young student (taliban in Arabic) from Pakistan in 2010 to take a class in NJ, but decided instead to look for a wife and settle down in Sunderland, MA.
