in a foreclosure auction of 5.79 acres of vacant land between Newmarket Center and the Eastern Pulp & Paper building at 100 University Drive.

Idrees is a partner with Ali Awkal and Gulam A Kagzi in the Springfield Equity Trust and has worked closely with the ISWM to further the cause of Islam by following the “perfect example” of their Prophet.

He hopes to build a small Muslim community center there, perhaps modeled on the Jewish Community Center on Main Street, he said.”
