Assem Sayedahmed is a Director of Hampshire Mosque Inc.
Do not get him confused with the other Dr. Assem Abolmaaty Sayedahmed, who lived in Amherst until Hampshire mosque opened in 2006 – or with the other Sayedahmed who lived in Belchertown from 2003 until 2008.
Dr. Assem Sayedahmed does not support Hampshire mosque!
It is important to note that Dr. Assem Abolmaaty Sayedahmed has “no affiliation with this mosque as a director” and does not want to be associated in any way with the Assem Sayedahmed of Hampshire mosque.
The doctor has threatened legal action (see comment) if anyone were to make a slanderous public accusation accusing him of supporting Hampshire mosque.
Dr. Assem Abolmaaty Sayedahmed is a Food Microbiologist and NEHA certified trainer in health, safety, and poisoning.
Besides his dedication to preserving our food safety and health, Dr. Sayedahmed’s main interests are ministering for Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet as a URI Chaplain. His video presentation, “The Status of Women in Islam”, explains how well woman are treated in Islamic countries.
Sayedahmed: “After Islam spread around the globe, some Muslims have mixed the religion with their inherited traditions … A lot of times these traditions are extreme and have nothing to do with Islam. Due to ignorance, the media found this a great opportunity to attack Islam; unjustly pointing fingers to things like Jihad and women’s status in Islam.”
Dear sir,
While I appreciate that is is a free country and freedom of speech is key. I do not appreciate the publication of false information about individuals. You are mixing the information about two different individuals. Dr Assem Sayedahmed has never owned a home in the entire US country, he has never lived in Belcloredtwon. He left Amherst since 2006 and no longer has a residence there. He has been married in his native country since 1999 and has a 12 years old child. He has no affiliation with this mosque as a director. How do I Know all that, I am his wife. We have every intention of taking a legal action if the post is not removed in the next 24 hrs. I advise you to be careful in the future about fraudulent posted on this site as this is slandering the reputation of people you do not even know.

The writer does not make it clear, but it appears she is writing on behalf of a Dr. Assem Sayedahmed, who lived in Amherst until Hampshire mosque opened in 2006, and is now ministering to Allah in Rhode Island. This Dr. Assem Sayedahmed does not want to be associated with the Assem Sayedahmed that is a director of Hampshire mosque.
Understandably Dr. Assem Sayedahmed is very concerned about damage to his reputation by being associated with the hateful ideaology of Hampshire mosque and the Islamic Society of Western Massachusetts.
Although under no legal obligation, the posting was clarrified to be sure that no one confuses Dr. Assem Sayedahmed with the Assem Sayedahmed who is still a director of Hampshire mosque, or the Sayedahmed who lived in Belchertown until 2006. He may not even know them.
