Both ION member Naz Mohamed of Hadley and Na’imah Muhammad of Belchertown attended the April 7th Amherst Planning Board meeting in support of Dr. Hazratji, who had to leave early after telling the residents how racist and bigoted they were.
Alan Seewald – attorney with an office next door said he “has no problem with the mosque”
Steve Prothers of 256 Harkness Road “stated that he appreciated the mosque members’ respect for the neighbors.”
Stearns A. and Dorothy F. Morse – Pelham – “we rejoice that Amherst muslims [like Dr. Hazratji] may find shelter among us”
