Jihadi Tarek Mehanna was arrested just over a year ago near Boston for “attempting to wage violent jihad against America.”
UMASS Amherst MSA officers continue to support Tarek. After all, he is only following the Qur’an and their prophet’s sunnah, exactly as practiced and described by all Islamic authorities.
Bilal Mirza – “… of Framingham has known [arrested terrorist Tarek] Mehanna for more than 10 years. Both attended the Islamic Center of Boston in Wayland as children.”
He described Mehanna as a studious man of gentle faith. “Mehanna is a charismatic community leader who helps youth groups, facilitates study circles and enjoys action films… Mirza shook his head at the allegations and the media coverage of the court proceedings.
” It’s unsettling. There’s this automatic assumption of guilt,” said Mirza
Iman Abdul-Musawwir
Undoubtedly another “studious man of gentle faith,” MSAs Iman Abdul-Musawwir of Boston remains active at UMASS Amherst, struggling to further the goals of MSA and the Boston ummah. Contact the MSA or the Iman to see how you can help Tarek’s cause.
