The current MSA leadership appreciates the assistance of Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds towards our goal of “creating an Islamic atmosphere on campus,” and African Muslims will always be treated according to the sunnah demonstrated by the “perfect example” of our Prophet.
The Prophet loved Africans, referring to them affectionately as “raisin heads,” and he had many black slaves. He understood the dignity and worth of black slaves and demonstrated their value by trading two black slaves for one white one.

AFP – Nearly 200 people drowned on Tuesday when a boat carrying illegal migrants from Sudan to Saudi Arabia caught fire after four hours at sea, Sudanese officials said.

Ever wonder why, despite millions of Africans taken to Turkey as slaves during Muslim rule, there are NO blacks in Turkey today? It’s because the Muslim Turks were especially fond of their male black slaves, often castrating them clean up to the abdomen instead of just removing their testicles. Until very recently the Turkish Sultan in Istanbul still employed many of these valuable servants to watch over his harem of (mostly white) sex-slaves. Unfortunately after losing World War I he had to lay them off.
